We hope you’re doing well and enjoying your June (June - how?!). It was wonderful meeting many of you in April for the Seattle Scribente event with Angela Garbes, Kristen Millares Young, Amber Flame, and Maggie Mertens. We’d love to get together again, this time to write and find support with other writer-mothers in our community.

In that spirit, please join Erin Leach-Kemon and I this Thursday, June 13th, 7pm, at Third Place Books, Seward Park. We’ll be in/near Chuck’s Hop Shop, and we’ll grab some first come/first serve tables. You can spot us, as we’ll have a little Scribente sign-up sheet. We’ll be looking official. ;)

We’re excited to establish a Scribente Seattle mother-writers community. We look forward to gathering to chat about our creative ideas, writing projects, and the role of motherhood in our work.
