July 30th: Portland Writer-Moms Meetup

Join us at Baerlic Brewing on Alberta St. from 5:30-7:30pm

We are kicking off the Portland Scribente Writer-Moms chapter with a casual meetup on Tues, July 30th at Baerlic Brewing (2223 NE Alberta St, Portland, OR 9721) from 5:30-7:30pm. Come anytime that works for you in that timeframe. You can grab a beverage and some dinner if you’re hungry from the food carts next door.

This will be a casual meetup for anyone who identifies as a mom who writes or a writer who mothers. Over the course of the past three years we’ve found that finding spaces to meet in-person has been incredibly powerful and has led to really wonderful community. We hope this will give us an opportunity to build a strong, local community of writer-moms.

How to Join a Chapter

First, you’ll need to subscribe to the Scribente Maternum Substack. Subscribing is free!

Then, you’ll need to go to your account and opt-in the “PDX Scribente Writer Moms” section. You can do that by clicking here to go to your Write Like a Mother account, and when you see this screen below, toggle “{Whatever Chapter You Want to Join}” from “off” (grey) to “on” (green).

That complete, you should be in!
