Thanks to everyone who came out for our second event, a virtual meetup on “Love & Resistance.” It was a delight to welcome Holly Karapetkova to read from Dear Empire, her new poetry collection from Gunpowder Press, and Michele Evans, who read from her new poetry collection, purl from Finishing Line Press.

Powerful words, indeed.

After the featured reading and an open mic, we did introductions and shared info about some upcoming conferences and events. It was a lovely and inspiring evening.

Chapter leader Jessica Claire Haney created a Google doc where participants could share links and contacts and any offers or needs.
