Thank you for joining our Portland Writer-Moms Community! We are excited to launch regional chapters and in this group/section is where we’ll be connecting about in-person events and sharing resources and ideas for writer-moms in Portland.
We’re currently in the pilot period where joining a chapter is free. But in the next few months, chapter involvement will be a benefit for paid subscribers. In the meantime, though, we’re excited to start getting to know each other IRL.
What to expect from this community:
Regular in-person meetups — basically meetups at a bar, restaurant, or coffeeshop to chat, commiserate, laugh about, and connect around parenting and writing.
In-person writing meetups — opportunities to gather in person to get your butt in the seat and write surrounded by other writer-moms.
Special workshops and panel discussions — we’ll be offering a variety of special workshops facilitated by local writers in our community.
Resource-sharing and community-building — this will be a space to post events you’re going to, events you’re excited about, and questions you’re
